I can’t tell if this is terrifying or not, I have not really heard of Parler and don’t know what’s on there... how bad was the content? I do know there is some horrible shit on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube but I worry about these tech companies with so much power. I’m not much of a political person, I don’t care if a republican or democrat is in office but would this basically ruin any chance for republicans to run again? If tech companies can shut down their platforms they can easily dictate who wins an election. While I would say it worked in our favor this time around as Trump seems to be unhinged I worry about someone deciding the outcome due to power...just doesn’t seem very American to me. Still not sure how I feel about this in terms of big picture and the future...
