I agree. There is no future in for humans in freight driving or delivery of any sort. There may be a small period of time where humans will be involved in monitoring automated fleets to assist in training the logistics systems, but that will quickly be addressed with machine learning technology as well. AI will be able to manage fleets of trucks, delivery vehicles, package carrying/dropping bots, and even flying delivery drones far, far better than costly humans.

And, segments of society will be far better off with such systems. The trick though is finding how to get such systems to benefit everyone equally. We're not doing very well on wealth disparity through technology at all right now. It's not a focus for anyone really.
