There are people who can have both great and horrible views on different topics. Someone who you think is morally good isn't going to be perfect, and can easily also be very wrong on other things.

One person who I really like many of his ideas and inventions is Ben Franklin. In his social life, he was pretty awful. That doesn't undo all his other insightful writings and positive contributions. Celebrate the good, while acknowledging the bad.
