Amazon needs to get a handle on its counterfeit problem. Fulfilled by Amazon should be a badge of trust, not a legal loophole.

No, no they don't. You're confused. And this is what I'm talking about.

Consumers assume returns are automatic. As a seller I can take your return back...but you pay shipping. Also, I can require the item not be damaged or there will be no refund. And I can assess a stocking fee of 20% for the return.

I know I'm getting down-voted because most people don't sell anything. They don't have to deal with the idiots out there that think it's their god-given right to waste other people's money for no other reason than "I just didn't like it".

But think of how easy it would be to put a seller out of business if you were not banned for returns. You could just keep ordering their stuff and sending it back at their cost. Do you really think shipping is that cheap?? You could ruin them.

Consumers like you are just fucking DUMB. You've never run a business so you just assume there's profit in wasting money on shipping for idiot customers who willy-nilly order shit they have no real intent on keeping.
