Tbh I find it awkward that people act like it's just some fringe thing. If the average guys' male friends said one of these talking point offhandedly...I find it hard to imagine that most men would immediately argue or even cut them off...because that is my primary experience--a lot of this guy's ideas, in isolation, don't seem to anger men. From hobby groups to coworkers, to what I thought were people that cared about social justice it has been pretty common to hear something similar and it almost being unheard of for a guy to speak up and go against other guys to do it, it's almost only just a woman (and it's been common for her to be shut down). I'd say most gamer groups would also condone it after what I've experienced in the community since I was 10 but, hey, that's low hanging fruit, lol.

The only two groups that I've never had this problem in were groups I've vetted for years.
