Amazon sells books promoting autism cures and other conspiracies, but should it regulate its sales?

Nowhere in any of my comments does it say that companies should be required to sell anything.

What part of that do you not understand?

The original question is "SHOULD Amazon regulate its sales?" Nothing about should they be forced to sell anything that they don't want to. My opinion is they shouldn't refuse to sell anything (anything legal, of course).

I understand the whole "We've always done it that way." mentality all too well. It's been used to justify persecution of people with different ideas, racism, slavery... Just because "We've always done it that way" doesn't mean that's the best way to do it. What part of that do you not understand?

What happens if, in a few years' time, some ultra-religious person or group or whatever gains controlling interest in Amazon and decides that they won't sell any book that contradicts the bible? Will you be OK with that? After all, we've always done it that way.
