AMD Radeon RX Vega Block Chain Driver Tested Shows Solid Ethereum Mining Gains

Vega is not a total disaster, it may not be great for gaming but AMD has developed a whole system around it to work fantastically in the data center and supercomputer arena.

Damn, I totally needed to upgrade a supercomputer in my bedroom. Thanks, AMD! I run deep learning algos 24/7, I can use an RX Vega or two.

As for your other points, this is how it's been for years, AMD cards not being the best and using more power but people keep buying them and AMD has kept chugging along.

AMD is losing its marketshare. Also, AMD used to have better GPUs until Nvidia caught up.

There's a lot more to AMD than just desktop gaming

10 minutes ago you kept repeating that gamers don't care about TDP and that RX Vega is totally fine for gaming. Now you are backing up and saying things like “gaming does not matter, Vega is for datacenter.”

their stock price is actually doing fantastic compared to where they were a few years ago.

AMD is a publicly traded company and not your friend. Stop making idols out of nothing.
