AMD withdraw KitGuru Fury X sample over ‘negative content’

learn what free speech is

Part of free speech is right to criticize. You'll notice that people taking away that right, for example by disabling comments under their videos, are terrified and offended that someone might disagree with them and - gods forbid - point out their mistakes.

Free speech means the government can't tell you what you can and cannot say.

Are we talking about a legal definition, outlined in constitution of many countries, or an idea? Because you seem to be ranting about the former, why I try to talk about the latter.
Words - especially on a site devoted to LPs and cat videos - can't hurt or harm people in reality. If someone feels offended by words, then they're clearly not fit to live in modern society. Free speech is being able to express your opinions wherever it's made possible, and not being persecuted for them by anyone. Some countries try their own take on that, but remember - countries form and die, laws change, but ideas stay forever.

Any way, not my point. If you wanted to shut me up, you could have just use your brain for the first time in this thread, and point out that Youtube is a privately owned company, and they can do whatever the fuck they want with the comment system, like allowing content creators to restrict it. I realize now that would make my point effectively moot.
But hey, it's better to insult the other party, and not maybe try to discuss.

Not understanding that simple concept makes you sound like a middle schooler who doesn't pay attention in school.

Well, you yourself assumed that I refer to Freedom of Speech as something outlined in constitution. By assuming things that aren't correct in the end makes you sound like an insecure, presumptuous person.
