America the bill is due. Cash out

Unfortunately, it’s hard to prove black American ancestry to make reparations a reality. There might be some that can prove that their family lineage roots itself in American since the 1800’s but that is a very small percentage in comparison to the entire black American population. Giving reparations to a select few —who can prove their American lineage—could cause an uproarious circumstance and possibly create a spitefully divided community. More so for families who do have roots that deep but are victims of undocumented proof.

A lot of people are considered hybrid-creole too; someone can be first generation American, have family from the Caribbean, and look black but can have a very predominant Anglo-Saxon looking grandfather; Their ancestry could reach as far back as the 1600’s in another country that enslaved them. So the question is which countries need to partake in an collective distribution of reparations so one is not overwhelmed with such an enormous task.

The Caribbean, North and South American black population is not a small one and those who partook in the enslavement and trades of their ancestry reach as far as Europe and Africa so holding just one country responsible for such a giant feat—to me at least—is unfair. The English settlements in America were the new comers to the slave trade in comparison to all the other countries involved. Personally, I want all those countries involved to pay and —sadly—Africa would need to pay up too.
