I agree that some of the arguments are laughable, however I do also support retaining the 2nd amendment. Where I differ, as a centrist (or moderate) on the issue, is with the idea that there is no connection whatsoever between the availability of guns and our shameful murder rate, and with the legally false notion that retaining the 2nd amendment means we invariably have to permit every sort of imaginable firearm from derringers to robot aerodrones armed with laser cannons and blockbusters.

Fun fact: In Arizona, though it remains legal to carry a concealed firearm without a permit, until 2019 it was illegal to possess nunchakus.
