American Christianity

The politics of British Puritanism. And by "British", I mean those who came to the colonies to escape Charles I - most of whom went back to England after he was executed but some of whom saw wealth and power opportunities and stayed behind - the "American Brits" - i.e. colonialists. Those "Americans" who still refer to The Revolutionary War as The "American" Revolution. The inventors of compulsory education and "the media". The "elitists". Those the U. S. Constitution was supposed to protect the people from. The "witch hunters". Those who consider "planet earth" their "territory", to do with as they please. Those "the queen" calls when she needs something. The "puppeteers" - even of royalty.

That's the foundation "American Christianity" was built on. Though it's a bit crumbly, these days.
