Healthcare:. For the most part it's free. If you don't have insurance then some things will cost you. When I was in an accident an ambulance for example cost me about $450. That's it. No other expenses aside from some prescriptions when I got out of the hospital. Dental isn't covered. Vaccines are covered. I've been in the ER many times and never had a fee aside from the ambulance and once for a splint boot (about $70)

Job market:. Really depends on where you go. But in general, if you are willing to work, you will get a job. Might not be glamourous to start, but you can work. That being said I have zero clue as to the rules regarding being American and working here

Degrees: many American university's/colleges are recognised.
