American Vandal theories post *MEGASPOILERS*

"oh you think its a burnout, but it was actually the honor student, and labels hurt people." that was a big moral of the show.

No, it wasn't a moral of the show. It was a moral that Peter - a character within the show - wanted you to draw. In fact, even from the start of his documentary, this was the lesson Peter set out to teach his audience. How could he have known the lesson of his documentary in advance of the investigation?

Van Delorey Theory Is Wrong The creators of American Vandal said that most of the theories they've heard from fans have been wrong. By far, the most common theory involves Van Delorey's suspicious name (his name sounds like "vandal"), so I'm betting that theory is wrong. After all, an equally plausible interpretation of his name is that his last name is "del lore" because he's a vandal according to lore (i.e., false rumor).

Peter & Christa Theory My theory is that Peter convinced Christa to help him. He manipulated her using all that information that he "theorized" about Christa at the end of the show (which he was forced to reveal once Christa accidentally blew her alibi). Peter drew the dicks using paint provided by Christa from the party, while Christa deleted the footage. Peter wanted to teach the world a lesson about judging people, while making himself look like a saint. He planned to frame Mackenzie from the beginning, using the flashdrive that an "anonymous" source provided (who apparently had keys to the AV room).
