As an American.

America is the land of free dumb. Not free or freedom. Here in America you are unfortunately allowed to be a dumbass.

People like the 'illusion' of freedom. Most are too stupid to realize what we really are free to do and not do. America is also a effect society. You are free to go shoot someone in the head. But there is a good chance the police are going to find and arrest you for life in prison. No one will stop from murdering them. Unless you blatantly plan in which is attempted murder at some point when the plan starts take action. etc. Even at that point, i still believe you have to try, because it would be hard to convict past reasonable doubt.

And a lot of modern politics comes about to warp the perspective of freedom. More like political speak. They are taking away your rights! Taking away your freedom!!!

Prime example, a heavily populated state (therefore its most likely democratic, because its usually a republican talking point "demacrats hate freedom" - even always sunny has been saying this joke for over 10 years)

Make it so you need gun license to own a gun. Rival politician will say they are taking your 2nd amendment right. He hates freedom! Vote for me, America is land of the free!

Not addressing the fact that 16 year old's are getting in shootouts and hitting 6 year old's across the street over wawa parking spots. Every god damn day! Not hitting each other. Hitting young innocent kids blocks away getting ready for school, playing soccer etc. (stray bullet on netflix if your interested)

A good reason why states rights exist. In one of those flyover states you can shoot 50 cal snipers in any direction and if you lucky you hit a sheep. In NJ, you can fire a .22 in any direction and have a good chance of hitting someones child.

Its usually the Americans who are total dumbasses who believe we are the 'land of the free'.

'Most' educated people realize we are bound by the laws of society and no matter how many ar-15s you own, you will never be able to over throw the government here. They have drones, satellite weaponry, sharks with freakin laser beams!, etc.

Also, people who've been arrested are well aware that here in america, once your arrested you are guilty and need to prove your innocence. But now im blurring lines with police topics etc.
