Why do americans believe us immigrants are here to take their culture, or are these lies?

well, ok I see your point and maybe my understand is a bit different since I am Canadian, but my parents are from India. Yes there are Indian communities but what is wrong with that? I think for the most part we are well integrated into society and give back far more than we take. For example by the numbers, we simply make more money, way more money than white americans per capita. By making more money we provide more tax dollars per capita than white americans who will use govt services at a far higher rate. We are also far more educated, thus provide more per capita in fields such engineering, science and medicine, tech, etc. A lot of current american culture has been taken from us (not that Im mad), but its white people ordering those chai lattes, meditating, going to yoga classes. Its white people buying into being vegetarian, though we've been living this life for thousands of years. The NFL (arguably the most american thing, uses headphones created by an Indian). Yes we do keep our culture to a certain extent, but we also take yours. An example, where I grew up during thanksgiving, all us Indian families would get together make a turkey and do the whole thing (the vegetarians would just stick to the fixins). But the point Im making is what is so bad with us maintaining our culture but also integrating american culture. Cant we do both? My point is give far more than we ever take and its just dishearting knowing there is the sentiment that Im not wanted in society by some, just for the way I look.
