Americans of Chinese heritage with Southern Accents living in the Mississippi Delta [YouTube]

This is why it blows my mind when people think its ok to discriminate against anyone who voted for Trump (as an example of group that is totally deemed acceptable to generalize, despite there being many non-whites who voted for him like many of my friends in my minority-majority state...)

I'm like... have they not heard of the black guy that for 30 years, became FRIENDS with KKK members and making 200 of them leave the klan?

You fucking destroy the violent ones with due process, quell the ones that may harass, and the ones that are just harmless in physical sense you just break them into realizing their preconceptions are wrong.

Never in my life did it make sense to me till I read about that guy to proudly be able to say "I want to make as many KKK friends as possible". Perhaps its easy for me to say that without coming across as bad because of my non-white status, but I feel like if more people had compassion, actual tolerance and actual compassion, we would decrease the not-so-large anyway supremacist population to easily less than half.

People respond to kindness over a course of a long time to take it in.

People respond to meanness immediately, by hardening their soul and becoming impossible to reason with.

Fuckin aye, its an Aesop Fable, Sun and the North Wind. Can't force someone to change externally. You induce them to change to want to change themselves. Why would people afraid change if you give them reason to think you are threatening and mean and unrelentlessly incapable of understanding why they are doing what they do.

I am not white and I'm even comfortable saying I don't think I even get along with white people but I can't help but feel like they deserve to preserve their way of life also. The whole idea that minorities are ok only if we comply with a specific white way of life and another white way of seeing things is automatically 100% ignorant when other races celebrate their culture makes no sense to me.
