Americans in Their 30s Are Piling On Debt

I don’t know how anyone has money for fun things. My wife and I gross 150k. We put 20% of that away for retirement because we know SS will be gutted and it won’t be enough anyway. We pay more taxes than your average Trump. We live in a fairly modest house in the central US where cost of living is some of the lowest in the country. We haven’t been on an actual vacation since 2019. We had a kid in 2021 and she is expensive. We have no car payments, bought our house when interest rates were low. We only pay for Netflix (for now). We have student loans that we’re trying to pour into but it’s never enough. Anytime we get a raise it’s like the cost of food and electricity and natural gas increase more. We always try to get bargains on food. Wtf am I supposed to do?
