Americans. What do you hate the most about your work culture?

A bit counter to the prompt, but after reading a good chunk of this thread.. Man, I'm grateful for my federal employment (military side)

-Everyone (regardless of gender, race, age) is paid equally from the same pay scales depending on civilian or military status. It's therefore not taboo to discuss pay and benefits. -The workday is 7-3 at my unit, including a paid hour of lunch. -There are so many rules in place to protect you from discrimination, whistleblowing, harassment, etc. and are generally followed and enforced from what I've seen. -The requirements for advancement and hiring are fairly black and white, and some pay raises are automatic depending on time in service. -I enjoy knowing that I'm providing a service to my fellow citizens.

I know the federal workforce gets a lot of heat from perceived laziness and waste. But that's not been my experience in the majority of cases. I also understand results may vary by agency. However, I work with motivated, honest people that care. I know this isn't 100% representative, but just thought I'd share my perspective.
