Question about an accident and auto insurance coverage? I was in an accident recently and just filed a claim with my insurance. The thing is, I went to the hospital the night of the accident and I had a few drinks way earlier( like 3 or more hours before the accident) and even ate dinner so I felt completely sober leading up to the accident. They however took blood and the nurse even said she could smell alcohol on my breath just slightly. So will my insurance be able to obtain my medical info from the hospital regarding that accident?
