I don’t think so. I’ve also noticed a weird Russia-anti-vax connection. A neighbour and a friend of a friend, and apparently all of their friends.

What I don’t get is in trying to stick it to the man (the west) they’re doing this thing where they’re glorifying Russia as the true heros, they’re winning the war, we need to become a republic etc. I said to be anti “the man” or whatever, they don’t have to be pro-Russia, they could hate them both.

Also mentioned the whole Russian soldiers raping and murdering of children thing, and got that scary glazed “I can’t win this one so I’m just going to not respond, disassociate and wipe this whole conversation from my memories” look. Sadly I’m seeing that look a lot these days.
