Yeah that is not going to happen. Has nobody here even played these games? Nobody is going to "realize they're not funny", pseudonymous gaming's biggest appeal is how people feel free to be the assholes they wish they could be online. Even reciprocating dialogue like that is going to fan the flames, and maybe propping up the few players who can't wrap their head around how toxic people are online sounds like a nice, thoughtful gesture, but in reality it's making everyone feel slightly madder than if everyone just muted everyone.

Kids are well aware of what they're doing and as much as I wished for a nicer environment, it's just not happening for now.
