AT&T Is Sneakily Raising Almost $1 Billion With a Higher Fee Buried on Wireless Bills

I'm up in Canada and have internet through a company called Telus, bought a house and continually had my internet dropping out all summer, but only in the afternoon and early evening. Over the winter, no issues, then started up again the next summer.

They continually came up with bullshit excuses, that my wireless router must be too far away in the basement, despite this problem being on wireless and LAN. They then insisted on it being the type of modem I had, and that gave me a "free upgrade", and tried to bill me for it. Still didn't fix the issue either.

Took me two summers before finally starting to notice that it only happened on warmer days, and at a specific time in the day. It would he good all morning, then start dropping out in the afternoon. Finally tracked it down myself to the demarcation on the back of my house, which they refused to believe.

It took the incoming and outgoing wires out from under their terminals, crimped them together with a little butt splice, havent had a single drop out since April.

They just cant ever admit that it might have been something done wrong by one of their people.
