As an Adult; I am allowed to consent or NOT consent to any medical procedure - so why was this right taken from me? (Trigger warning: Medical Assault)

well from someone that hasn't been taken seriously even though I gave everything to this goddamn country...you have every right to feel how you feel and to feel that you are not a joke and it doesn't matter what they think because they were not there. they didn't have the experiences you had so let them say whatever they want but at the end of the day, what you say will matter in a court of law and it doesn't matter if there was no physical harm because it sounds like a lot of emotional harm was done and I don't like that our society thinks that the only harm done on people are the ones that can be seen which is so not the case. my buddy got so emotionally scarred after the war and the counsellor that was suppose to look our for our interest told him he didn't have a case even though he kept going back and saying what he was feeling didn't just appear overnight on its own. it was the damage of seeing terrible things that I will not mention right now at this time. but he ended up shooting himself in the head, he's wife, kid, kids friend and the dog because everybody ignored his feelings. and then 4 years later we read on the paper that something similar happened to this other fellow down in Idaho and that this person had all his family and his family took the case to court and a year later PTSD is a real thing. so you go talk to a lawyer and he will send you to a doctor that will have your interest at heart and I'm sorry you're going through this and I wish I can remain helpful but I have early onset dementia and probably is gonna not sound as smart as I am right now so I apologise in advance for my retard phase. ha ha
