An American soldier and his Japanese wife who met each other during the post-WWII occupation of Japan [September 1947]

Lol good question. I don’t have Spotify and if I did, I don’t think I’d listen to Japanese music.

But to the intent of your question: I generally hate Jap things. Not consciously, but the art, the buildings, the weird-ass culture... it’s just not my thing.

But when I do find something I like, it is generally ruined. I watch a lot of documentaries and sometimes I find a documentary that looks interesting and when I start it, I find that it was made by Al-Jazeera and I turn it off. It’s not because I hate the camel fuckers (and I do), it’s because I have no interest in participating in the furtherance of their narratives. It may be a fine documentary about something apolitical, but finding a documentary made by Al-Jazeera is like finding a delicious cupcake with a pube on it. It’s just tainted and I lose all interest.

And that’s kind of the same for Jap things. I also make sure to educate others along the way as I feel too many are either ignorant of the Japanese “character” and history or have not placed the atrocities in proper historical perspective.... like some of the dumbfucks in this thread (not you).
