Lampard is a deeply interesting coach. Only been working for two years so hard to pin him down in terms of his ideas about the game. But he's flexible, definitely not an ideologue, and clearly passionate about (and a student of) the game. Seems to want his teams to dominate and be on the front foot in all games, but has shown a knack for setting up a team for counter attack football too and is flexible regarding formations. A great man manager, it's probably fair to say, and charismatic. In terms of tactics and philosophy I would probably pin him closest to Klopp but Lampards football is different in itself. For sure, i really think he has a very bright future at Chelsea. While there are concerns about him, the squad and the club itself at the moment, there is also evidence to suggest that bright times are ahead.
