Persecuted Sikhs. People were being locked up indefinitely just for having loose affiliations with any separatist. Lost my great uncle and grandfather through those orders. My uncle was a separatist, so both of those old timers were imprisoned and died in jail. It was a Kin to the Salem witch trials. Wrongly Say someone’s a separatist you could get them and multiple members of their family imprisoned.

Ordered operation blue star. The leader of the Sikh/Punjabi separatist movement camped out in the golden temple, a place of prayer and worship for Sikhs. The states response was to drive tanks through this holy area and moe the place down. The separatist leader was killed… along with tons of other innocent Punjabi residents that were praying at the temple.
