I have an idea for UBI that I think would be superior to taxing and redistribution

Hopefully this comment makes sense; I'm drunk so I may just be rambling.

I'm not someone who will argue that government is unnecessary, but I think that we should have as little as possible. As such, I'd like to have a prosperous society with as little taxation as possible.

The threat of violence is necessary in taxation, so that is why I came up with this idea to circumvent that.

Taxation also imposes a deadweight loss on the market, which I belive this strategy avoids.

To me, morality is not the government's problem. A governments job is to enforce mutually agreed upon contracts and mitigate negative externalities. Morality is an abstract concept that no two people will agree upon, so it is foolish, if not selfish, to expect the government to enforce your own personal opinions upon others. Your morality is something that should guide your own decisions, and you have no right to enforce your own beliefs upon the rest of society, especially through a monopoly on violence.

This entire line of thought is what I was trying to circumvent through my idea.
