Hate to point out the obvious here, but brand loyalty is probably more rooted in goals of standardization. If I'm getting different hardware all the time with different drivers, different manufacturer components you're asking for a wide range of inexplicable issues users will have with their workstations. Since the its all over the place, it'll be near impossible to discern patterns as to which models will have issues, what can be done to fix or mitigate the issue that occurs. It'll just look like problems are the result of chaos in your workstation fleet, and everything you do will be completely reactive. You might observe some patterns that help you find a solution, but the water would be so muddied.
