An interesting thread from 2008

Im own a small business (b2b services / consulting) and demand has completely dried up for our services. Businesses are freezing nonessential spending to protect their cash and employees. We can only afford to pay all employees for two weeks. We suspended or reduced service agreements with all of our contractors on Friday.

Same here in Germany. Our company (international B2B,i.e. customers

in Europe, US, East Asia, ~10k employees) just had a record year in 2019. Now we have pretty much exactly 2 weeks work left. And it was not only the virus. Demand already slowed seriously down at the beginning of the year, but the virus stalled all of our contract prolongations and ongoing negotiations.

Haha, tomorrow will be a fun day. I have no idea what I am going to tell my team...
