Yea, I guess one part of my problem is that I look creepy and can't hold an eye contact (nystagmus). Like I will look at the girl,, try to smile and say something but I don't say anything in the end, too shy.

I'm quite talkative when I know the person / it is a friend of my friends, but trying to talk to people who I dont know (at a party) is quite difficult, because even when I am talking to them I look around, because it's hard to look people in the eyes (partly because I think they will see that my eyes fly all around and partly because of my eyes flying all around).

Plus I find it strange to ask someone randomly for a number, I don't even have friends numbers. But yeah, there is a huge difference in how you approach the girl. For example when I tried tinder many girls said they were happy to chat with someone who says something "Hello, /some compliment/" and chatting about what we have in common instead of "hello kitten (idk how to exactly translate from my native language, but it's not really respectful). And of course even if they reply to those guys they will immediately jump to trying to get them on a date / in bed, whereas I take a much slower pace.
