I'm grateful for my mom giving me hints on how to deal with a pedophile because this wasn't the only incident. So parents who are reading this please listen and learn

I was sent out to pick up a pizza pie for the family being that it was Friday night dinner (no meat on friday's - again the Catholic thing) this was in a New York City neighborhood it was no big deal to send a 12 year old on an errand like this. I was jay walking in the middle of the street when I car pulled up, rolled down the window. He announced he was Father so-and-so and was friends of the Parish Pastor and did I know a certain teacher blah blah blah alll this to get into my confidence. I ending up telling him my name and since I was in front of my apartment building he knew my address. Well, he tried to lure me into his car to talk. Remebering what my mom taught me DO NOT GET INTO A CAR WITH ANYONE YOU WILL NOT BE PUNISHED. So I made a lame excuse that I couldnt stick around the pizza was getting cold and my mom would be wondering. As I raced to my apartment he sped off just as fast. Told my mo , she called the police and the school. Investigations were made then it seemed that was that.

Months later Im summoned along with my mom to talk with the principal and detectives. They busted the guy and I was among about 6 other boys in the school on a "hit list" , they found polaroids of hat he did with his victims along with syringes annd shit like that. I and about 6 other boys wound up in court where he pulled his solid citizen act alongside his wife. I remember the judge saying " I hope you packed your toothbrush because you are going away!"

Still frowning that my mom gave me advice?
