Yikes. Nothing like a school shooting to uproot racism… pretty bad take there.

I understand that you may have had your own experiences in Oxford which have shaped your views, but considering nothing like this has ever happened in the community it’s very hard to rationalize that the community is at fault.

Why hasn’t this occurred in lapeer, Brandon or Romeo which are more or less smaller versions of Oxford (Romeo is probably larger)? What about lake orion right down the road? Why not in Rochester where you have students coming from Pontiac as well? Hell, in Rochester you had the one guy shoot a black child for knocking on his door, yet the schools there aren’t witnessing such events take place. Your argument that the community lead to this just doesn’t make sense when the surrounding suburbs are near mirror images of Oxford with relation to your concerns.
