As an ugly girl, how can I learn to accept myself and not let other people get me down?

Why are you against cosmetic surgery? Listen, we live in a shallow world where everything is judged simply by what is seen on the surface. You could get away with being a horrible shitty human being if all you had to offer was a pretty face and nothing more. Take teeth for example. There are people with fully functioning teeth that look absolutely horrible for whatever reason. Would you tell that person not to get those teeth fixed because it doesn't really matter and besides, those teeth work fine anyway? Of course not. Not surprisingly, thousands of people have had their teeth cosmetically fixed and seen a huge improvement in their confidence and overall life experience. Cosmetic surgery is a result of this world and what people value, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with getting it done. Yes it's true being "ugly" doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things, but in your mind it does and that's reason enough. Fact is, you simply can't and wont fully experience the life you deserve or grow as a human being if you're being held back, so it's your responsibility to do everything it takes to remove that barrier, imaginary or not.

So heres my advice to you, save up and get cosmetic surgery. You'll have to look and think very carefully about those particular features of your face you think would improve your overall appearance. Sometimes all it takes is a little work on your nose, your cheek bones or your eyes for there to be a huge improvement. Just make sure you've done the proper research, consulted with professionals and thought it all through. If it all goes swimmingly you'll be amazed you didn't get it done sooner.

And if people give you shit for getting it done. Firstly they never got to experience life from your pov so would never know what it was like. Secondly, you had no choice. It is the world we live in and you simply did what you had to do in order to live the life you truly wanted.

Good luck!
