The analysts were wrong: The iPhone X is still the most popular iPhone

Got a source? Touch ID was defeated within 48 hours of its release by lifting a fingerprint off of a drinking glass and making a latex mold of it (https://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2013/09/chaos-computer-club-hackers-trick-apples-touchid-security-feature/). Face ID took about a week (https://www.engadget.com/2017/11/11/security-firm-claims-to-defeat-face-id-with-mask/).

Granted, I’ve seen a handful stories about similar-looking people unlocking each other’s phones with Face ID and I don’t recall seeing those for Touch ID. But Face ID is still pretty good. Given your ignorance on this subject, I’m guessing you’re confusing Apple’s Face ID formless sophisticated face scanners in other phones. Some of those can be defeated by a 2d image of the phone’s owner.
