Wow that's a VERY narrow venn diagram, isn't it? They are too big AND are going bankrupt? What kind of financial scenario is that exactly? If they don't have money to bribe politicians how are they "too big"?

History goes that the government was created so people could VOTE to choose leaders to represent them. Against who? The robber barons who literally used their money, power and "property" to extort and control the people. That's why the American government started - because of the ancap hell hole this land became after the natives were murdered.
...And your plan is to return to that... because you prefer to be controlled by rich mad kings instead of a government obliged to keep a semblance of popular representation? The situation is bad because of greedy crooks... so you want to give them the keys to the castle?
America was never ancap. It was controlled by a king, and then became a republic. It was capitalist, very briefly, which was also when America experienced its highest period of growth and prosperity. The government then wanted in on the deal, so the put out propaganda to encourage people to give them control of the economy.
... but even if you manage not to give them your money, they are still exploiting your land, stealing natural resources, and putting your family members toiling away long hours for low pay, so they can make more profit.

It's never the people who decide it... It's the corporate-backing crooks, looking out for their "business", who infiltrated government. Because the people were asleep. What you’re still missing, is that I (and most capitalists) don’t want either of them to exist. End the government control of the economy that created these corporations in the first place, and then the next time they’re about to fail, nobody will bail them out. Continue supporting a government that controls the economy, and people WILL find a way to slither in and abuse it.
