Ancient battle-scarred feral cat meets tiny kittens

We've had a feral cat for about a year and a half. It was before the winter before last and little Grey Kitty was constantly right outside our door but would run away when she saw us. We'd put food out and slowly started sitting by the door until she was comfortable enough that we could reach out the door and lightly pet her. One night before it was supposed to get down in the single digits (-12C to -17C) I snatched her up and threw her in the house.

We didn't see her for about a month but could tell more food was being eaten and the litter box was getting used more. About a month later she shakingly walked into the living room and looked at us but would run and hide again whenever we would move/stand-up. Very gradually over time she would be by us when we walked around, after about 6 months we could pet her and she obviously liked it. And about 4 months ago she jumped up on the bed and slept by our feet. Now she'll sleep on our chests. She's still very skittish and we've only picked her up twice, but you can with patience acclimate a/some feral cats to house life.
