Andor - Episode 5 - Discussion Thread!

The tension and anticipation this show builds on is truly something to behold. Every scene felt like it was leading into the next by a thread.

My only gripe with this one was Syril and his moms second conversation. So much time passed with other events and we cut back to them still talking. It was interesting too how they broke the 180 rule in the second convo.

I’m going to keep my eye out for times where the camera switches between that tule. They did it when Luthen and Andor first chat and I think the moment andor agrees the camera dollys to a different side (indicating he’s convinced: switching sides)

I tried doing this with a film once to indicate a shift in the characters development/decision making.

Can’t wait to have just another excuse to study this show. It’s so well crafted.
