Andrew Luck scored a 97 out of 10 on his NFL scouting Combine

Because it's completely, entirely, patently false, that's why. The 2011 Colts were embarrassingly bad top-to-bottom and lost games in amazingly incompetent fashion. They were the product of some of the most inept management (thanks, Chris Polian!) in recent memory. The management was fired, the coaches were fired, and the team was entirely overhauled in the offseason. A whopping six starters survived the transition.

This was not a team that added Andrew Luck and suddenly became competitive again. This was an awful team that had been dragged kicking and screaming to 12 wins for several years by Peyton Manning until he had his injury. Saying we tanked when the team plainly fucking sucked is admitting you watch no Colts football.
