[Angels] OFFICIAL: @MikeTrout agrees to terms on a 12-year contract.

But you never know. I don't think anyone can say unequivocally 'without a shadow of a doubt' 100% guaranteed that he won't be traded during the entire 12 years. There can be unforseeable circumstances that could occur during the tenure of his contract like a sudden change in ownership like we sort of saw with the Miami Marlins. After Giancarlo Stanton signed his $325 million contract, all the parties at the press conference indicated that he was going to be a Marlin for life and look what happened. I'm just saying $430m is more palatable to the red sox/Yankees/Dodgers then $500-600m down the road in 4-6 years if the Angels decide to go for a full rebuild from scratch or if there are any unforeseen circumstances.
