Animators: Awkward 'Andromeda' Animations Are Automation Amok

He gave evidence, by refuting their points from the educated standpoint of an actual animator, that the article sounds faked, or at the very least, was edited in such a way that it paints the animators as some poor unfortunate souls who were at the whims of their software not working the way they wanted it. We know it looks the way they intended, because there is an unmodified and normal-looking Ryder model in the game-- which for some reason only shows up as a glitch in the French version!

There are plenty of times where a flub is not the fault of the devs, or they just ran out of time, or they didn't have the budget-- Bioware Montreal has none of these excuses. The game is at best mediocre, with no bugs rendering it "unplayable"-- but many. many aspects of it are sloppy and they don't need this outpouring of pity articles saying "Boohoo it's not bioware's fault, animating is hard!" They fucked up. All the power to those who give it a chance and enjoy it-- but to get that enjoyment you are pretty much voluntarily choosing to ignore a mountain of issues in-game and within Bioware.
