I met Vic two years ago and he was honestly one of the nicest people I ever met and was really cool to me and made me feel important as a fan.
I did observe the way that he acted around his female fans but I never interpreted this as creepy but 'obliviously innocent' about his behavior. He seemed to have an innocent mindset about how he'd hug his fans tight and give them a quick peck on the cheek. I think he definitely needed to be talked to and it seems like now he understands how uncomfortable his actions can make people since he has decided to change the way he interacts with fans. I don't really believe the crazier stories but I wouldn't be surprised if he has hooked up with some fans that are much younger than him. The stories I've heard of him taking girls back to his hotel room depicted the girls as of age. I was really looking forward to seeing him again and was going to get an autograph for a friend but then this drama happened. I'm sad about it but I'm also sad that this seems to be creating a divide within the anime industry. It seems like not only are anime fans divided but VAs are divided too.
