Nah, WIT have said themselves that they care about SnK and want to continue making it. It's just a matter of wrong schedule (Many animators per episode), a bad budget (WIT makes very little money from SnK, most of it goes to Production I.G) and other projects (Vinland Saga, a 24 episode anime that releases shortly after this season ends). They probably decided to make 10 episodes, so SnK won't air at the same time with Vinland Saga. Of course after that, people at WIT would be less invested in this show. Despite all of that, they still managed to include all important stuff while given only 10 episodes. I'm not saying this is good, but it's not bad at all.
