Anime suggestions for quarantine

onestly enjoyed SAO the first time through. I personally didn't think it had much rewatchability. Most anime I really like I can watch 5 or 6 times no problem (Black Lagoon being one of them). I've watched all episodes of SAO and the spinoff. I dont think I'll try for a rewatch. Just because something hits all of the right notes the first time through dosen't mean that it will hit the same the second time around.

It's almost become a meme to hate on SAO, I think the reason for this might be that when it debuted it exploded with a level of popularity that other similar shows did not see. Naturally lots of people thought it was overrated.

If you are interested in the VR isekai. Check out the .hack// franchise , and Log horizon.

Here's some sideways recommendations. Right now I'm currently watching Arakawa Under the Bridge, and trying to type this while laughing my ass off. Check out {FLCL} one of the best of our time IMO.

As far as shonen goes I think Radient is underrated, but I'm a Fairytale fan, so if you are not into magic centered fantasy it might not be your thing. If you are cool with that check out {Is it wrong to pick up girls in a dungeon} and the spin off {Sword of Oratoria}

I also liked the Blade of the Immortal anime that came out recently, and suggest you check out the live action film directed by Takashi Miike.

Before I for get {Psycho Pass} is not bad if you're into Sci-fi. I could keep going but I have pizza and more beer that needs to be delt with.
