Anime vs magna

There's literally nothing wrong with the Manga version Oden.

It sucks lol, it's not good, it's not meh, it actively sucks for the clash that it is. You can say it's wasn't built up but it was, Oden was the only guy to ever put a dent in the infamous Kaido, a Yonko who had just zero diffed Luffy 50 chapters or so prior who was being focused as the main antagonist of the entire arc of Wano, itself incredibly hyped up for years.

Kaido wasn't near his peak.

I agree but this is still a Kaido who is post Rocks, a kaido 13 years after God Valley.

While the anime is trying to squeeze out an actual fight. It's not not cool and not good.

Couldn't disagree more, Kaido being one shot by Oden is just rushed writing.

Paradise Totsuka and not 3.

Oden does one Paradise Waterfall, then a Paradise Tosuka that gets interrupted by a blast from Kaido, which he powers through and finishes the same Paradise Tosuka, the anime then goes on to make it look like Kaido vs Oden were about to clash again rather than make it look like Oden was just gonna finish him off in the manga, which led to debates as to whether or not Kaido reaaaally just got one shot.

nor did Oden ever get caught by Kaido's whiskers ( this move hasn't even been used vs. the scabbards or supernova @ the rooftop. )

Who cares, it was cool and the manga fight sucked.

Oden vs. Kaido wasn't suppose to be like the legendary clash like it was with Roger vs. Whitebeard.

Which was literally off screened where as the anime at least expanded on it showing Marco vs Rayleigh with some nice animation.
