Annoying British tourists in America starterpack

Birmingham is famous for its curries, massive parts of the city are Indian communities with very spicy food. Most Brummie's and people from surrounding areas love a spicy curry. Things like phaaI and vindaloo curries are common takeaways for a lot of families all across the UK and they're very spicy. I think you just happened to come across a group of people that by chance didn't like spicy food. Most fridges in England will have some kind of medium hot sauce in them such as Tabasco, Sriracha etc. Also you can't forget the unofficial English king of the takeaways, the kebab, they are covered in spicy chilli. When I was first reading you comment I literally thought to myself 'WTF' I don't know anybody that would raise an eyebrow over you wanting hot sauce. Please be assured hot sauce and spicy food is common place in the UK too as I feel embarrassed personally by your experience Haha.
