Annual Halloween Reminder from your racist friends at the Mormon Church

I agree partly. They should apologize as that is the nice thing to do, but does it really still make them racist? American presidents have never apologized for our past action of wiping out the native Americans. Does this mean America is still racist? I don’t think so rather I think it means that the church just like the U.S. did terrible things and has changed over time. And just like humans when we do wrong and harm someone else, we can apologize which is super important but it isn’t necessary for change. If someone rapes someone which is a very awful thing to do, they can spend years in jail and change their views. When released they can now say they no longer stand for rape and won’t participate on it in the future however they don’t apologize. Are they still a rapist if they are against rape? I don’t think so. And the church has put in many lessons they aren’t for racism of any kind now so while they should apologize, it is clear they aren’t for racism and don’t participate in it any more which is why I don’t think they are racist.
