For me most of my injuries that ended me up in the hospital ended up being kind of funny because the doctor would ask me how I broke/sprained something and I would reply "No clue" (Because I seriously didn't know) or because of how mundanely stupid it happened.

For example I sprained my ankle pretty badly when I was 12 playing Hide and Seek with all my cousins at my grandparents house in a different province, somehow in the night I ended up spraining it, I noticed it felt weird to walk on it but I was so hyped up with adrenaline that I didn't even notice, I woke up the next day and walked in the house (still not being able to walk perfectly) and I sat my feet up while reclining on my grandma's chair, she sat down next to me and freaked out looking at my swollen blue foot, we go to the emergency room and wait the few hours until they take us in, and the guy is just baffled at how I had very minor pain, it wasn't until later in the day when I finally started feeling serious pain in my foot.
