I got really into ice hockey as an adult in the Deep South after college. No real reason.. I just found out we had an ice rink and there was a beginners program for adults.

I became the ice hockey NPC in the Deep South which carries far more weight than it would up north.

Eventually everyone realized it was there to stay so people began gifting me old hockey memorabilia and some of it was worth some serious money.

Eventually my new friend group of adult ice hockey players became way more fun than my old friends.

I started going to my NHL teams games and bought season tickets.

I played ice hockey like 4-5 times a week.

I wore a lot of hockey themed shirts.

My desk was populated with my franchises swag… coffee cup from the HR lady, branded note pads from my coworkers, signed pucks from my favorite players by my boss.

I’m the ice hockey guy. It’s not a bad NPC to be.
