I'm pretty sure twitch streams, especially big streamers, are entertainment for autistic sensory overload people. No disrespect intended but I think normal entertainment might be too sensory dense for some autistic minds whereas twitch hits the correct rhythm that they can handle it without having a meltdown while still extracting some dopamine from it. I could be wrong but nothing else really makes sense to me, whether you're watching to turn your brain off, for direct entertainment, or for background noise even low tier TV shows/books/movies are better than some shmucks stuttering over video games.

Or there are titty streamers who's primary audience are just horny mf's soon be suffering a severe bout of buyers remorse and post nut clarity.
