It’s almost impressive how dumb they are to never realize how bad of a look this is anytime a republican gets sick or dies. It makes moderate liberals ashamed to share a political affiliation with these people and pushes fence sitters away.

But eh what do they care anyway? I think the kind of person who openly cheers this kind of shit doesn’t even think they need a majority to win at this point, they’ll just threaten to burn shit, and then actually do it without realizing that’s an even worse look for their side.

The only death I’ll cheer is that of both these dinosaur parties in the hopes that I’ll see a political party at some point in my life that actually represents a majority of its members without having to massively compromise their values.
